CERTIFICATION COURSE ON SHIP DESIGN SOFTWARE (MAXSURF & RHINO) 2024
A “Certification Course on Ship Design Software (MAXSURF & RHINO)” has been launched on 04 February 2024 by the department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (NAME). On 07 February 2024, respected commandant of MIST Maj Gen Mohammed Saidul Islam, rcds, ndc, psc has inaugurated the said course. This course is a 3 weeklong course which will run from 04 February 2024 to 22 February 2024. The aim of this initiative is to provide the students and professionals with the necessary tools for excelling in ship design, thereby enriching their knowledge and skills. This year the course is being conducted by 2 external and 1 internal instructor who are competent enough to operate these softwares. A total of 41 participants have taken part in this course this year. Among them 31 are MIST students, 06 are from other universities and 04 from industry. Upon successful completion of the course the participants will receive certificates along with grades.
