Alumni Meet 2024
On 18 October 2024, Alumni Meet 2024 was organized by the department of NAME. A meeting between the NAME Department and the NAME Alumni Association of MIST (NAAMIST) was held in the central conference room of MIST. The Chairman formally welcomed the alumni members and faculty of the NAME Department, emphasizing the association's crucial role in creating career opportunities for graduates through job placements, career development programs and workshops. An update on the previous meeting, recent activities and upcoming events of the NAME Department was then presented to the attendees. As a follow-up to the prior meeting’s recommendation and the accreditation requirement to establish a website for the departmental alumni association, the Chairman soft-launched the NAAMIST website, https://naamist.mist.ac.bd. The meeting proceeded with an open discussion, where alumni members shared insights on job opportunities for NAME graduates, strategies for enhancing industry experience and ways to improve practical knowledge etc. The Chairman expressed heartfelt gratitude to all participants for their valuable contributions and meaningful discussions, highlighting the importance of such collaborative meetings. He concluded by emphasizing that these interactions are essential and will lead to positive outcomes that benefit both the NAME Department and its students.
