MIST at the 4th International Symposium on Quality Assurance in Engineering Education
16 participants from 11 Dept and IQAC-MIST, attended the 4th International Symposium on "Quality Assurance in Engineering Education through Accreditation" held at Hotel InterContinental Dhaka.
The event, organized by BAETE and IEB, brought together distinguished academicians from home and abroad, professionals from industry, leaders from international accreditation bodies including Washington Accort, Sydney Accort and Dublin Accort.
The following honourable Advisors and Special Assistant to the Chief Advisor were present in the opening and closing ceremony as Chief Guest and special guest respectively:
- Mr. Adilur Rahman Khan, Adviser, Industries and Housing and Public Works
- Ms. Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Adviser, Environment, Forest, and Climate Change
- Mr. Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb, Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications, and Information Technology
Key figures from the international accreditation bodies also participated, including:
- Professor Kai Sang Lock, Chair, Washington Accord
- Professor Ir Megat Johari Megat Mohd Noor, Chair, Dublin Accord
- Daniela Iacona, Deputy Chair, Sydney Accord & Director, ABET
The symposium also featured contributions from local experts.
