ARTICLE PUBLISHED BY MIST FACULTY MEMBERS IN Q1 CATEGORY JOURNAL

A research work conducted by Lt Col Khondaker Sakil Ahmed PhD, PEng, M. ASCE, Engrs, and Lecturer Md. Shahjalal and of CE Dept, MIST has been published in a Q1 Category Elsevier Journal “Case Studies in Construction Materials” (Cite Score: 5.1 & Impact Factor: 2.6). The title of the article is “Bond strength of post-installed high strength deformed rebar in concrete.” The article aims to contribute in retrofitting and strengthening of existing structures. On January 2021, the same authors published another Q1 category article titled ‘Flexural response of fiber-reinforced concrete beams with waste tires rubber and recycled aggregate’ in “Journal of Cleaner Production” (Cite Score: 13.1 & Impact Factor: 7.246). The research will contribute in the production and application of a cleaner sustainable concrete comprising recycled coarse aggregate, waste tire rubber, and polypropylene fiber.
